Dr. Brandi Seley is a naturopathic physician providing integrative primary care for patients ages 12 and older. She combines thoughtful conventional medical care with natural therapies to create individualized treatment plans that fit the person in front of her. Her approach may include herbal medicine, nutrition and lifestyle counseling, hands-on therapies such as craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation, and other natural therapies that support the body to heal and function well. She also values the role of conventional medicine and uses medications, testing, and referrals as needed.
Dr. Seley sees patients for a wide variety of concerns, from preventive care and wellness visits to the management of acute illness and chronic conditions. She has a special clinical interest in gastrointestinal health and hormone/endocrine system health. She has experience helping patients navigate a wide range of digestive concerns, including acid reflux, IBS, IBD, food sensitivities, and other chronic digestive symptoms. She also works regularly with women experiencing hormone-related concerns such as menstrual irregularities, PMS, PCOS, and perimenopause/menopause-related symptoms. Dr. Seley commonly helps men address concerns related to energy, metabolism, and healthy aging. Dr. Seley also has experience evaluating patients with thyroid and adrenal health concerns, including chronic stress and Hashimoto’s disease.
Dr. Seley’s philosophy revolves around vitalism, which is the understanding that the body is a self healing organism when given the proper conditions. She believes in looking for the root cause of illness whenever possible and helping patients build a strong foundation for health before turning to more aggressive interventions. Dr. Seley vows to hold her patients in unconditional positive regard and meet them where they are at in their healing journey.
Originally from South Eastern Alaska, Dr. Seley moved to Washington State, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
