Dr. Sang-Jin Nam, ND

Dr. Nam joined Cascade Health Clinic in 2023 to serve the community near the beautiful Cascade foothills.

Dr. Nam received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University, interned at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, and completed his residency. Prior to his study in medicine, he earned his bachelor degree at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, the most rigorous program in the nation and had a professional career in Ernst and Young for years.

Dr. Nam is passionate about providing quality primary care, education, and support to patients at every stage of life. He spends time with his patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. He tries to understand his patients as a whole person and not just an isolated set of symptoms. With this approach, he addresses the underlying causes of disease and offers personalized medicine. Dr. Nam integrates standard of care with naturopathic modalities and principles to offer his patients the best options out of both conventional and natural therapeutics. Dr. Nam has special interests in men’s health, pain management, allergies, and nutrition.
